Ladies Group
Our Ladies group started in 2013.
We meet once a month and an average of 14 ladies attend each meeting.
We have also had Bible Studies and Hymns to form a choir for church the following Sunday.
We have had fun playing Table Tennis and Bowls.
In the summer we have a walk on Woodstown Beach and have a “Bring and Share” supper. We have had two sessions of the board game “Beatle” which caused many laughs.
In Christmas and Easter we have a party hosted by one of our members. In Christmas we sing carols.
Our friendship between members has deepened and our faith increased through fellowship.
DISCUSSION GROUP
We have a thriving Sunday School of 40 plus young people and a vibrant teenage discussion group.
The Minister
Rev. Dr Sahr Yambasu is the Minister of St. Patrick’s Methodist Church. He originally comes from Sierra Leone in West Africa and has lived and worked in Sierra Leone, Northern Ireland, England, Scotland and Ireland.
He undertook his theological studies at the Sierra Leone Theological College in Freetown, Queen’s University College in Belfast, and Fitzwilliam College in Cambridge.
He has lived and worked in Ireland for the last 24 years. His wife is also a Methodist Minister. They have 3 grown-up children.
Rev Dr Sahr Yambasu has been elected by the Methodist Church in Ireland as its president for the year 2021. READ MORE
